About

I am a Lighting Cameraman based in London with over 15 year’s experience in the industry, shooting a range of formats including documentaries, factual entertainment, multi camera studio, sport and commercials. Throughout that time I have worked in all corners of the UK, and have filmed documentaries around the world including America, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. I have a valid iVisa for US work.

I am confident tailoring both kit and style specifically for each project, whether it’s creative documentary filming or more clean-cut promotional framing. I work creatively and efficiently and try to help those in front of the lens feel comfortable and relaxed.

I have used most current camera set ups, and have considerable experience shooting with Arri Mini, Arri Amira, Canon C500, Canon C300, Canon C70, Sony F55, Sony FS7, Sony FX9/FX6, Sony A7s and Canon 5D. I have worked in studios as a ped op for almost 2 decades and have shot single camera in almost every conceivable location, from the top of mountains, to speed boats through Venice, and of course in the UK in the pouring rain.

I am very used to working on productions with crews of over 100, down to a skeleton crew of just 2 or 3. I enjoy working with confident directors and DOPs who have a clear vision, but I am also happy to take a stronger lead if that’s what the production requires.

My career started as a Clapper Loader in film and television drama, before moving into studio camera work. I always had an ambition to work in documentary television and I have spent the last decade building my experience and growing as an operator in this field.

I have a range of equipment for hire, I am an A2CofC qualified drone pilot and have a VW Transporter van with modular shelving to safely transport kit and 5 crew. I also work closely with colleagues to be able to provide a broad range of camera and lighting equipment.

I am happy to discuss your project and provide a quote specific to your needs. Please get in touch for more information, I look forward to talking to you.
